All about the Benjamins
Obviously the comparison will vary based on where you plan on attending university. As a baseline, the program costs slightly more than what you would spend on a semester at state university but less than what you would pay at a private university. Here are some thoughts from which you can start your research, and a few things you should keep in mind if you plan on arranging your own study abroad:
1. Unless your university has an affiliate relationship with a foreign school, you will likely have to pay tuition at both schools – and that’s if your school will even allow the foreign credits to transfer.
2. It’s often the case that the courses that do actually transfer back, so not count toward graduation (only as elective credits.)
3. How will grades be calculated at the foreign school and how will this impact your GPA?
There’s a lot to think about… unless of course you study online at a domestic university with easy transfer options.

Included!
Accommodations and Utilities
Regional Travel and Entry Visas: Once you get yourself to the region from your home town, we will get you from location to location – including flights and ground transportation. If you stay on tour and travel from one region to the next, we will also take care of that one intercontinental flight.
Several Meals: We do a “Family Dinner” each week. We also include a fridge stocked with the basics for you to make a few meals. This way you don’t have to worry about shopping as soon as you arrive to a new country.
Local Host: You will have a person on the ground locally as a travel and adventure resource. They are here for you if you need help planning excursions, get sick, loose your passport, etc. They aren’t a “tour guide” per se, so they aren’t going to hold your hand… think of them like a big brother or sister.
Health Insurance: There are a million things that are excluded from all health insurance plans though we take care of your basics… hospitalization, basic sick visits to the doctor, and ambulance transfer if necessary. You will probably want to maintain your existing insurance as well to cover any gaps.
Disaster & Evacuation Insurance: While we don’t foresee anything crazy going down… we have a plan to get you out if necessary.
Cooking Class: Learn to cook like the locals!
Photography Classes: You’ll learn the basics of how to take amazing photos and how to use photo development software.
Scuba Certification: You’ll get your Open Water Certification or some fun dives if you’re already certified.
NOT Included
Intercontinental Flights – You get yourself from your home town to the appropriate region abroad and then back home. We will get you around once you are in the region.
Most meals – We take care of Family Dinner once a week and stock the fridge with the basics to make a few meals. You are responsible for things from there.
Excursions – We take you on some amazing adventures, but everyone has different interests so your day-to-day activities are up to you. We only include the activities as stated.
Other: If it’s not mentioned as included… it isn’t.
Kinda simple, right? Right.
